In recent years,the demand for Internet and mobile communication services is growing strongly which drives us to rebuild and expand the underlying transmission network constantly,but the number of maintenance staff has not increased synchronously which brings more pressures.In order to reduce the maintenance workload,China Unicom corporation Liaoning branch introduces the transmission integrated network management system into present network carrying out standardized automation management.At present,the application based on transmission integrated network management is limited to the basic alarm management,performance management,resource management and so on,which only mee the most basic needs of daily maintenance,and we still need to carry on the deep integration and optimization analysis of the information collected by the transmission integrated network management system,to meet the growing demand for maintenance,and realize standardized automation management.According to "enhance the efficiency of network maintenance,improve the user perception" which recently proposed by China Unicom group company,this passage starts from the actual situation of Liaoning Unicom transmission network,analysis the maintenance problems that urgently be solved in the work,and put forward the corresponding function requirements.With the help of powerful data acquisition function of integrated transmission network management,the passage realizes looped network statistics,big ring statistics,unused configured ports statistics and idle boards statistics four new functions through SQL program The new functions which have passed the strict test and applied in the daily maintenance work guide the maintenance people to upgrade or rebuild the irrational network structures,release the available configured ports,remove the idle board which can be used as spares.With the help of new functions,the maintenance efficiency has been greatly improved,at the meantime the network quality has been improved,the robustness has been enhanced and the allocation of resources have been optimized.
