In the process of the occurrence and transmission of the network,the network media has been playing a more and more important role.From the perspective of public management,this paper expounds the connotation of college emergencies and the management of different stages.And the characteristics of college emergencies are summarized in this paper.Through the analysis of the status of the University Emergency Management under the environment of network media and the existing problems,Discussion on the rational use of network media to deal with emergencies in colleges and universities.The ideas are the establishment of a sound network media environment and reducing the early warning mechanism of emergency management,enhancing the reaction force under the environment of network media emergencies,properly handling the network media environment emergency recovery and post reconstruction.To try to provide a favorable reference for dealing with emergencies of colleges and universities in the network environment in China.
