The Development Of Attendance System For Mobile Phone Check-in Based On WIFI

Since the traditional way of attendance is time-consuming and laborious,it is difficult to realize the present situation of comprehensive and objective attendance management in class.Besides,the students use mobile phone to play games instead of listening to the teacher in class.This topic designed and developed a WIFI based attendance system for handset check-in.For the momen,the attendance system allows the routers broadcast the WIFI,so students will connect mobile phones to this WIFI for attendance.The students can regist,check-in,sign back,check information,and ask questions with the APP.The teacher Web client allows teacher to regist,login,introduct the course information to the database,upload the teaching documents,check the students' attendance,what's more,teacher can customize the students' attendance sheet.The research production are as follows:First,the HttpClient technology is used to realize the function of real-time access to the MAC address of the device which is connected to the WIFI,in order to achieve the monitoring and collection of attendance information by mobile phone attendance.Second,the IP address and default gateway of router was set up to send the specified WIFI.And the server based on Apache Tomcat was built.Third,according to the running process of system,the data flow in the Web client and APP is analyzed in detail,the data table structure is designed and the various data tables are set up in the MySQL database.Fourth,the system is based on the MVC layering design idea,and the front page and background service of the teacher client is developed by using Java Web technology.The system is mainly using Structs,Hibernate,JDBC technology to build a server based on Java and MySQL.the JavaScript,jQuery,CSS technology is used to design and develop the perfect,reasonable Web front-end page.Through testing,the reliability and correctness of the system are preliminarily verified,the expected design objectives are achieved,and the next direction of research and improvement is pointed out.The system is simple,efficient,and it is easy to operate.The Students need to connect their mobile phones to the designated course WIFI for attendance,to a certain extent,it limits students' playing games and reading novels with the mobile phone,which is conducive to improving classroom teaching order and teaching quality.This system can comprehensively and objectively record the attendance situation of students,which includes the specific dates of students' absence from duty,being late,early retirement and leave,which can provide a detailed and reliable data basis for carrying out the corresponding teaching research.Which more,students can learn the resources material uploaded from the Web client and send their questions to the teacher,it provides channels for interaction between teachers and students on class and after class.
