Personnel attendance system is an important part of modern management system,is the premise of normal work in the enterprises and institutions. With thedevelopment of computer technology and industry competition is increasingly fierce,the enterprise to management is more and more high quality requirements, aneconomic, efficient attendance management system plays a very important role in theenterprises and institutions to improve information management. Jilin ChemicalIndustrial Company, although has been initially completed construction of thepersonnel management system, but in attendance management, the existing systemfunction from structure can not meet the demand of acquisition, automatic generationof result, statistic information analysis of attendance information diversity, flexibility,accuracy, quickness. Jilin Chemical Industrial Company, still use the traditionalmanual handling, the original way of calculating wages through the personnelmanagement system, after the introduction of artificial statistics summary. This kindof management mode exists low efficiency, difficult to manage, easy to counterfeit,the sentiment of many unscientific management problems, although many of theartificial intervention methods and measures, but attendance management is still notto good effect, and even improve the management cost, the traditional performanceappraisal methods can not meet the requirement of modern management. Seriousimpact on the enterprise management level and the enterprise image, restricting thedevelopment of enterprises.At present, with the continuous development of biometric identificationtechnology, face recognition, fingerprint recognition, iris recognition, hand, earrecognition, signature recognition, voice recognition and so on many kinds of ways,because the accuracy and the use of highly convenient its recognition, more and more application of identity recognition, attendance, personnel security, education,examination of the actual management, related technology and equipment isbecoming mature. According to the existing enterprise networking, informationizationof Jilin chemical company, based on comprehensive analysis of the advantages anddisadvantages of biological technology, decided to improve the existing facerecognition attendance system by the way, to enhance the company’s informationmanagement level.This paper first introduces the background, and in-depth analysis of the status ofstaff attendance management of Jilin Chemical Company and the main existingproblems, through the analysis of its causes, proposes a combination of biometricidentification technology advanced, combined with the existing personnelmanagement system, management through the network, further improvement of theexisting attendance mode, then press the "advanced, practical, stability, compatibility"principle, through the comparison of several existing mainstream attendance mode,finally determined to facial recognition technology as the main way of the companyattendance management, combining the actual situation of Jilin chemical company,the design and implementation of attendance management system based on facerecognition, eliminates the false checking, to a certain extent, effectively solve thedrawbacks in traditional attendance mode, the attendance management more efficient,convenient, open, fair, and avoid unreasonable management cost. The new system caneasily complete the attendance statistics function, various kinds of attendance report,improve the unit attendance efficiency, and the company web site, employees canquery their own attendance information, submit the leave application through thenetwork, make the attendance management humanization, automation has become areality. Finally, this paper further analysis of the system improved benefits and risks,and the implementation effect and security measure of system are described.The system has been test run in some units in our company, according to theactual operation and employee feedback, facilitation, simplification of the attendancemanagement, strong practicability, basically meet the design and use of the target. Inthe application process of the system in the future, we will be based on the actualfeedback of the system, the shortcomings of continuous improvement and debugging, so that it can continue to adapt to the new requirements of Jilin Chemical IndustrialCompany, put forward to the attendance management in the process of development.
