Intravenous infusion is one of the most commonly used treatments in clinical treatment.In the existing infusion work in hospital,nurses usually rely on their experience to turn the wheel on the infusion device to adjust the infusion speed.However,in some infusion process of special patients,it needs a strict control of infusion speed depends on patient condition and the types of drugs.Under these circumstances,artificial adjustment cannot satisfy the precision requirement and it may influence the expect therapeutic effect,even threat to patient safety.Besides,in the traditional infusion treatment in hospital,the carers should always pay attention if there is abnormal situation occurs and nurses should always to patrol the wards to ensure patients safety.In this case,it increases the patients psychological burden and brings lots of pressure of work for the nurses.In view of the defects of present infusion treatment depending on artificial adjustment,this system designs an intelligent infusion monitoring system based on nRF51822 chip.This system uses master-slave structure.Slave station consists of a sensor,signal processing circuit,a microprocessor,a micro peristaltic pump and Bluetooth Low Energy communication components.It uses infrared emitting diode as the sensor to detect the signal;signal processing circuit uses voltage comparator LM393 to be signal transformation circuit;the microprocessor uses nRF51822 chip to complete logic control and wireless communication.The micro peristaltic pump uses L293D chip to drive DC motor in different speeds to adjust infusion speed.During the infusion process,this system uses fuzzy control algorithm to change the duty cycle of a PWM signal coming out of the microprocessor to change the rotate speed of the DC motor to adjust the infusion speed and uses Bluetooth Low Energy communication protocol to achieve the remote control of the infusion.Master station is played by an Android phone of a nurse.She can use an app to achieve the man-machine interaction to realize remote control of the infusion treatment.This app can both receive the real-time infusion speed and send a given speed to the single-ended infusion monitoring device.This paper describes the design methods of the hardware and software of each module of the intelligent infusion system in detail.Several key issues will be focused on,including the design of signal processing hardware circuit,the import of the fuzzy control algorithm,the implement of software to achieve the control of the infusion speed and the realization process of Bluetooth Low Energy to achieve man-machine interaction.The test result indicates that this system can achieve the desired functions and has feature of low power dissipation and stability.
