With the expanding of AP scale,Single centralized AC,even distributed AC can't meet the needs of such a large scale of AP management.Therefore,we need to change the existing WLAN infrastructure.Through a combination of domestic and foreign research for WLAN technology,and with the advent of cloud computing and OpenStack,we have proposed the idea of cloud AC.Cloud AC not only manage very large scale of AP,but also manage small-scale AP.It solved the waste problem of excess management capabilities of centralized AC.Cloud AC will use the method of dynamic expansion,which can be allocate and use resources more rational than before.Cloud AC management platform used cloud computing technology,which used the open source project OpenStanck.The AC cloud erected on OpenStack,calling its seven components,which virtualized the elements of computing,network and storage.Cloud AC used cloud computing technology to split computing,storage and network resources,multiple virtual machines run Comware on divided resources,and use the virtual machines set up distributed computing architecture.So as to form a WLAN access control and management framework which can be dynamically extend in accordance with tenants.That is a cloud-based WLAN network architecture,AC cloud and AP networking architecture.Cloud AC management platform was analyzed,designed and implemented at full length.Cloud AC consists of four nodes,which are computing nodes,network nodes,storage nodes and controlling node.These four nodes are existing in the data center network of cloud AC,in the form of clusters.According to the need of control,calculation,storage and the network,we increase or decrease nodes in the cluster,that can match the needs with different abilities of the entire cloud AC infrastructure.Control nodes in the cluster to achieve the control and management in IaaS.Storage nodes in the cluster to store the entire data of cloud,data into infrastructure-level data and platform-level data,which are serving with IaaS and PaaS.Network nodes to achieve the unified external IP address and MAC address,the rules of load balancing for internal use,thereby isolating the external network and internal network.Clusters of compute nodes provided the CPU,memory and other computing services for AC,while some of the network services are being run on the compute nodes in the cluster.User use Dashboard to manage the cloud AC,Dashboard provide UI interface for user.Dashboard as an infrastructure-level core subsystems in cloud AC,while providing API for the upper software.Dashboard make two different management interface for administrators and ordinary users.Ordinary users can manage their own tenant.Administrators can manage all tenancies,users,Flavors,vAC configuration templates and Instance.This paper also describes how to perform system testing,how to do a comprehensive test for all modules,and taking all the exceptions input into account.By analyzing the test results of the project,we can know that the project meet the demand.
