Driven by the rapid expansion of network traffic and the gradual expansion of innovative businesses,traditional hierarchical and sub-area networks are no longer able to meet the development needs of future networks.Software Defined Optical Networks(SDON)networks are regarded as the development direction of the next generation of optical networks.The new network architecture abstracts the attributes and functions of the underlying devices abstractly,and integrates the unified virtual resources for the upper level application calls,which has the characteristics of improving resource utilization and bandwidth allocation rate.With this architecture,as the demand for iteration of long-distance transmission services increases,cross domain services will become the mainstream services of large-scale networks in the future.The new virtual network architecture has broken through the bottleneck of traditional network,and has also brought great challenges to network management.Good network management technology has great significance for the allocation of network resources.This paper aims at the cross domain business scene of SDON network architecture,and explores the effective management technology in this scene.By analyzing the principles of various mainstream network management technologies,we find the difficulties of SDON cross domain management.In this paper,we propose an open SDON network management technology based on web platform.The technology uses centralized management and distributed control and management separation mode.It uses Restful Http as communication protocol and Web browser as management platform to achieve unified management of cross domain services and devices in SDON network.According to the proposed new management mode,with Web Service technology and existing experimental equipment,this paper developed a cross domain management of SDON experimental platform,the controller and the network management protocol and transmission data format design,the use of platform server remote database unified storage Multi-domain physical device information.The feasibility of the proposed network management technology is verified by experiments.It can effectively communicate with multiple single domain controllers,realize the flexible management of multi domain underlying device information,and also display the topology information of the whole network and connect the end-to-end business of the cross domain optical network.
