Our nation has always been a giant agricultural country from ancient times and agriculture is the basis of national economy,so crops is the basis of basis.The fertilizer we have been using in the fields for thousands of years is mainly composed of compost which is made of faeces of human or beasts or bodies of plants.To ensure the quality of compost,we need to monitor some key parameters such as temperature,humidity and pressure in the composting process.However,monitoring these data need a great many of human resources,which is why some other methods are greatly needed and why data must be electronized and networked.In the view of this situation,we designed and implemented this monitoring system on composting process.There are totally three subsystems composing the entire system: data-collecting system,data-uploading client system and data displaying and managing system,in which the data and device are managed by different roles.We provided an entire solution for this specific scene of composting process.Based on traditional composting scenarios,we designed simple and effective managing model,thus making the data flow process more humanized,automatic and secure.For technical architecture,this system is implemented based on most proper technique means according to the features of different subsystems: as of data-collecting subsystem,just for the composting scene,we used the self-organized Zigbee wireless network thus achieving the goal of data collection and integration;as for the datauploading client subsystem,we developed the software client based on Windows platform using C#.Net,so it's convenient for users to install it;as of real-time datadisplaying and managing subsystem,we selected B/S architecture and SSH framework for server and Bootstrap,HTML for web front end,providing a good user experience,which makes it more friendly and easy-to-use.We researched and chose appropriate technology to achieve.The system is well tested and security issues are considered including possible attacks.The monitoring system on composting process implemented by the article provides solution to specific agricultural scenarios which is good reference to further practice alike.At present,this system is available online and providing stable service.This work is a good trial to change the current situation,in which agriculture work is labor intensive and ineffective,using network technology and internet of things.
