In recent years,the world has gradually entered the information era,the development of computer and Internet technology,all sectors of society in the production and management behavior will d epend on the highest level of information technology as the carrier,the way data stored in electronic information for clinical diagnosis is the inevitable trend of medical work.The clinical diagnostic data in practical operation includes the following ma in features: wide variety,complex content,forms,and use of higher degree of association,electronic medical records in the actual clinical work is an urgent demand.Electronic medical record(EMRS)can be used as one of the key factors in scientific and effective establishment of medical system(HIS),and it is precisely because of the use of information technology.In the majority of small and medium-sized hospitals,still using the semi manual mode of medical records management,has seriously hindered the rapid development of the hospital,the patient's medical record information management is imminent.Through the construction of electronic medical instrument system can replace the traditional paper medical records,medical records and information mana gement,to meet the current small and medium-sized hospital all medical,legal and administrative requirements,has an important significance to improve the management efficiency of small and medium hospitals.This paper focuses on the operational characteristics of electronic medical records and the use of XML technology,through the understanding of the structure of the XML language description,to explore the feasibility of using XML technology to carry out the development of electronic medical records s ystem.This paper studies the application of XML documents in the management of medical records in the middle and small hospitals,and designs and realizes the structure of the language description of the electronic medical record.Through the XML technolo gy to save the electronic medical record information can effectively reduce the degree of dependence on computer hardware and data format,can adjust on the computer hardware and software upgrade,improve the system scalability and application.XML documents are the only memory for each electronic medical records,after the system memory,the user can carry out information exchange whenever and wherever possible,work through the network;in the XML standard,the user can in compliance with certain standards,appropriate to the reasonable,which can effectively improve the the system has been used for degree.The confidentiality of the electronic medical record is obtained through the encryption of the content;the integrity is obtained through the implementation of digital signatures,thus improving the safety of electronic medical records.After the completion of the system,the test run,to achieve the desired goal.
