Radar is an electronic system that focuses on the advanced achievements of modern electronic science and technology.Since the 1980 s,due to the rapid development of microelectronics technology and various electronic devices,the radar and its applications have continued to develop,greatly improving the performance of radar And significantly expanded its scope of application.In this paper,based on radar related theory,combined with the author's own working practice,from radar system with phased array antenna system present situation,discuss the monopulse angle in the field of engineering design and implementation.The object of this paper is a key technology used in active phased array radar: the target information is analyzed and processed by using the monopulse angle.Based on this key technology,can better play the active phased array radar anti-interference ability and high precision angle measurement.This paper introduces the principles and overall design of the radar system,the composition of the phased array antenna,the working principle of sum and difference signals angle measurement.This paper introduces the basic concept of array signal processing,such as wave range difference and array model,and studies the principle of difference beam forming and the principle of measuring Angle of difference signal and the improvement of the performance of radar system.Then,according to the actual situation of the project,the overall design of the phased array radar system with the monopulse angle is introduced.FPGA to achieve digital signal orthogonal mediation and pulse compression implementation process,and then by the ARM to complete the parameter control,direction measurement angle,the target point fusion function.Finally,the experimental data can be used to verify the effect of monopulse angle measurement on the performance of radar system.In the end,the paper summarizes and summarizes the work,and puts forward that many places can be further dug in the follow-up work to improve the overall performance of the system.
