The multi-channel phased array radar has characteristics of fast scanning speed, good concealment performance, powerful resistance to clutter, far-distance detecting, low radar transmit loss and high reliability. Many functions can be realized by the multi-channel phased array radar, include monopulse searching, synthetic aperture radar(SAR), etc. Traditional monopulse radar can measure the location of the target, but anti-interference ability is weak under complex electromagnetic environment. When against the interference of digital radio frequency memory, radar needs to have the property of low probability of interception and anti-interference. Commonly, restricted by the scope of beam-scanning, scanning mode and the synthetic aperture time, it is difficult for synthetic aperture radar to implement large acquisition scene, thus causing difficulty for the terrain matching and platform positioning and other applications. Therefore, it is necessary to obtain a large acquisition scene by scanning-mode squint synthetic aperture radar. According to the monopulse search radar, which has the property of low probability of interception and anti-interference, and the scanning-mode squint SAR, which has the property of large acquisition scene, this paper studies the method of parameters design and signal processing. Including:1. Describing the composition of multi-channel phased array radar and the geometric configuration of airborne multi-channel phased array radar. Meanwhile summarize the design process of multi-channel phased array radar system.2. Proposing method of the parameters design of monopulse search radar system and the scanning-mode squint SAR system.3. Proposing the method of the waveform design of monopulse search radar, which has the property of low probability of interception and anti-interference, and the scanning-mode squint SAR, which has the property of large acquisition scene.4. Proposing the method of the processing of stepped frequency phase encoding signal with the property of low sidelobe in the monopulse search radar. Meanwhile, the system design in the scanning-mode squint SAR has validated through the SPECAN algorithm.
