Monopulse active phased array antenna is the key technology in angle measurement of radar. Analysis of the triangular grid phased array antenna which uses horizontal polarization mode are showed in this article. I produced a linear array antenna and a power splitter, as well as a one to four equal power splitter.Triangular grid phased array are separable. In this article, array radiation field and the direction coefficient are firstly analyzed using the classical theory. According to the indicator, the fed current distribution of array's azimuth plane uses Taylor distribution, and the unit anntenna numbers and spacing are determined. I also show beam width and the technology of virtual displacement with 6 bit digital phase shifters instead of 9 bit when pattern of array's elevation plane scanning . Low sidelobe lever antenna must consider the error and mutual coupling, error analysis guide the design of power divider network, considerding the mutual coupling is useful to the implementation of low-sidelobe. With the help of HFSS sofeware, 7×7 array are simulated to analyse mutual coupling and mutual coupling compensation in this article. Simulation results show that the mutual coupling compensation method has relatively good results.The wideband wide scan of printed dipole is used as radiating elements, It is a couple feed structure antenna. Power divider network of line array are designed on the basis of Taylor distribution in azimuth plane. It is cascaded by broadband stripline Wilkinson power splitters.Firstly, we use HFSS software to simulate each power splitter separately, and then cascade together to achieve the overall power splitter network simulation, finally connect antenna array through the integration of simulation after theλ/ 4 impedance matching. When the antenna input vwsr and antenna pattern achieve a satisfactory result, we export it to Autocad drawings.After debugging and testing, the antenna's vwsr and sidelobe level achieve the targets in the measured results. Because of all kinds of errors, although the measured antenna pattern is asymmetrical, it is able to be used in the actual project.
