This topic is based on scientific research project designed air cushion vehicle simulation system.Air cushion vehicle drivers train on the hovercraft simulation system in the first place,and then the real hovercraft training.Hovercraft simulation system is mainly divided into two parts,the master control room and the cockpit of the hovercraft that real design.The simulation system has many advantages such as good real-time performance,strong operability and with visual system,makes the drivers training in the most "real" environment.Radar simulator is installed in the master control room and the cockpit,the coaches and the driver real-timely observes the sea state which near the hovercraft,based on radar simulator.Coaches on the main control computer send training course and put the hovercraft in designated area.Radar simulator and visual system adjust chart display area real-timely according to the location of the hovercraft.This paper tells the radar simulator development situation at home and abroad,then introduces the design process of the radar simulator.The introduction of radar simulator system and display system structure and function analysis.Detailed introduction composition of radar simulator and the function of each part,a brief introduction to the interface structure of radar simulator.Radar simulator adopt the way of UDP to communicate between master computer,introduces the implementation process of communication between them.Mathematical modeling to the radar target and Marine environment.Marine environment model including sea clutter model,rain and snow clutter model and internal noise model.Simulation of sea clutter,due to different sea condition of sea clutter model,so we use different mathematical distribution to sea clutter model.We use kalman algorithm to track radar target.For the convenience of the coaches and the crew observe the hovercraft nearby sea condition,we load the bitmap in the radar simulator.We introduce the structure and function of the bitmap file,the bitmap import method of radar simulator.We figure interpolation implication processing counterpoint,making the show more clearly the bitmap.Finally the introduction of the software design process of radar simulator and real-time display of the bitmap.Software design mainly includes the display area design and software design of the control button.In order to better observe sea condition,we need to update the location of the bitmap and angle.Radar simulator receive data packet real-timely from coach system and extract the data,extract the hovercraft longitude and latitude and heading information,and then move and rotate the bitmap,achieve the goal of real-time updates.The radar simulator of the paper researched can make the hovercraft simulation system run normally and has a good running effect.
