Imaging radar echo simulator is a device used for radar system performance measurement and evaluation,and its major functions are listed as below: simulator real-timely receives radar position,beam pointing and samples radar transmitted signal through communication interface,on the basis of SAR parameters and stored ground object model,real-timely generates echo signal of target in the irradiation area;Then,in the radio frequency(RF)or intermediate frequency(IF)domain,the simulator injects echo signal into radar system,providing the hardware-in-the-loop simulation for radar system.As the kernel control software in imaging radar real-time echo simulator,master control software plays an important role in the entire system.Based on hard real-time OS VxWorks,master contorl software system of radar real-time echo simulator uses reflective network with multiple simulation nodes that constructed by VMIC reflective card as communication link.Correspondingly,system testing results showed that the determinacy transmit delay between nodes in real-time distributed simulation system as low as nanosecond level,which provides a guarantee to the hardware-in-the-loop simulation of imaging radar.Firstly,the thesis introduces the system structure of real-time radar echo simulator.It focuses on the real-time simulation hardware,software communication mechanism and other aspects of human-computer interaction of the master control unit,all of which are described in detail.Secondly,the thesis also introduces the structure of real-time distributed simulation reflective network,design and development of protocol stack,VxWorks software design methods and process flow in detail.Then the construction method of reflective network is explained,and communication protocols used in this thesis such as reflective network protocol,UDP,SPI are analyzed.In addition,the specific solution of VxWorks cross development environment,BSP setting and OS boot setting are given accordingly.Finally,the design and development of master control software are introduced in detail.This paper discusses the function module and simulation flow at first.Then,divides the memory of reflective memory network into different regions based on variant purposes.After that,the development of software inteface base on MFC and VxWorks real-time program are presented.At last,multiple sets test and verify results of the master control software are figured out on the basis of hardware-in-the-loop simulation of imaging radar,the testing results verified the correctness,reliability and realtime performance of the system.
