With the globalization of the world economy,especially the development of modern logistics,the port has a huge radiation effect on the surrounding areas and hinterlands,and gradually become the center of modern integrated logistics.The informatization of ports has effectively improving the management level,market competitiveness and economic benefits while also produced a large amount of data,which can provide interactive information for customers,port enterprises,regulators,port administrations and other sectors of society.However,due to the rapid growth of business volume,the intensification of competition among ports and the increasing demand for the content and quality of the data required by customers,only showed the data collected and arranged in tabular,it was difficult to find the law based the distribution of the data and make an analysis and decision.So,how to acquire and process tedious data in the era of big data provide support for enterprise decision-making in a more intuitive way was a problem to be solved urgently in port development.Based on the research on coal data and production scheduling at home and abroad,the paper combined data warehouse,OLAP and other technologies to model the coal dispatching data of the port and studied the data visualization.Firstly,the paper briefly introduced the data warehouse,OLAP and data visualization technology,and summarized the modeling steps of multidimensional data model.Secondly,according to the production process and actual demand of the port,the system structure was designed and its deep research and discussion were carried out.Then,the theme of data warehouse was determined,and the conceptual model,logical model and physical model were designed respectively.Finally,the process of data processing was introduced in detail,including the ETL process of data storage to data warehouse and the establishment of the OLAP multidimensional data set,and used the business intelligence visualization software to display graphics.Through the processing and visualization of the port coal production scheduling data,the comprehensive application ability of the data can be effectively improved,and help decision-makers to quickly and accurately analyze the important information behind the data,find breakthrough points in port development,grasp market trends,and enhance the competitiveness.
