In recent years,with the rapid development of information technology and network technology,a large number of various types of massive data have generated.The security,reliable,and high-speed of accessing and using to these data have become the issue of common concerns in academic and industrial circles,which is particularly prominent in the field of high energy physics,biology,social networking and other scientific computing and commerce.There is a huge gap between the network storage system based on iSCSI and the traditional storage system.It combines the existing IP network and disk interface to form a virtual pool of resources,which provide users with the maximum logical address space.This paper designs and implements a RAID storage system based iSCSI,which mainly uses RAID and iSCSI technology to build the network storage system.In the I / O data terminal,this paper uses the linux2.6 kernel in bio structure that similar to I / O operations containers.Through the effective merger of I / O operations to the request,it did not required a single buffer continuum existed,and reduced the memory copy times,and greatly improved the work efficiency of the block driving.The experiments shows that compared with the traditional I/O method,the method designed in this paper obtained a better I/O throughput rate inthe operation of reading and rewriting.The RAID storage system based on iSCSI which is proposed in this paper has a certain reference value and application value in data storage and processing.
