The Login Management System For Distributed Storage Based On Iscsi Protocol

With the development of the information technology, the Storage Area Network(SAN) emergence as a new system that can be promised to substitute the old resolution,such as FC-SAN,(fibre cable SAN). It has large potential requirement to the applicationfield. The tradition SAN system has the shortage that has expensive cost and shortdistance connection. With the mature of the IP network, SAN systems immigrate to theIP system becomes a hot issue. The iScsi protocol gives the mature resolution andstandard for the SAN system based on IP. It is expected to be practiced then FC-SAN innear future.In this paper,we introduce the traditional storage technology at first. Aftercomparing FCIP, iFCP, and some IP SAN in iSCSI, we analyse iSCSI protocol,especially its login phase.We bring in the service technology in WINDOWS which wewill use to build iSCSI target.Now our iSCSI target can do the work of iSCSI loginphase successfully.
