A Study On The Usage Of Digital Media On The Perspective Of Intercultural Communication

This study take the Kazakh people in Xinjiang as the object of study to investigate the use of digital media during minority groups from the perspective of Intercultural Communication.It describes the usage of digital media among Kazakh people by means of questionnaires and interviews and makes an analysis of the impact made by digital media in gaining informations,expressing ideas,building up relationships,daily behavior and ethnic identity among Kazakh people.The study found that:the usage of digital media put the Kazakhs into a globalized interactive circumstance to make the groups' internal and external interaction more frequent and normal,which increase the possibility of obtaining informations,conveying thoughts and organizational action and promotes self-empowerment based on digital media among Kazakh people.On the other hand,it has also grdually abolished the boundaries of individuals,groups and organizations in the original social structure in Kazakhs and promoted the deconstruction and reconstruction in interactions spanning time and space of identification of Kazakh people...
