Currently, the servo driver is debugged mainly with computer as the upper computer, and connected with a variety of signal source.Due to complicated site environment, using computer as main debugging tools is not only inconvenient for operators to observe the real-time running status during operation, but also heavier in load in transit.A convenient, flexible and low-cost servo drive handheld debugging terminal is designed. The debugging terminal design consists of hardware circuit design, software design and terminal shell structure design. This terminal uses Freescale MC56F84789 as processor,LCD12864 as display,20-bit film key control as function selection,RS232 and CAN as communication,to achieve main signal source such as a single-ended voltage, analog voltage,PWM,etc. This terminal adopts Altium Designer10 design circuit schematic diagram and PCB board, and detects design circuit correctness through its compilation and simulation. In CodeWarrior 10.6,the software program is written, greatly reducing the programming workload via PE function, and USB-TAP-DSC is used to download and debug the program.Solidworks is used to design a portable and elegant shell.Electronic device is selected according to public use habit and the hardware theory.Shell is processed with 3D printing technology according to drawing.Long-time testing is performed as required for design accuracy, meeting the design requirement, and this terminal has been put into use. This paper is intended to design a kind of servo driver handheld debugging terminal with easy operation and low cost, refining use requirements in design process and optimizing hardware circuit design, software programming and shell design on the premise of achieving functionality.
