Along with the economic globalization and the development of electronic technology,information technology has been gradually fusing in all kinds of professions and trades.It substantially promotes the development of the enterprise and also brings great challenges to the information integration and management system.Our government,entrepreneurs and scholars are deeply aware of the necessity of Enterprise Management Innovation and they all think the construction of enterprise information is vital to the survival and development of enterprises.Oracle EBS(Oracle E-Business Suit,referred to as Oracle EBS)is an ERP application and management software product with the globalization of the world,the intensification of market competition and the nationalization of information.Specifically,it is the product set after the integration of the original application products,including different series according to the different business functions,such as General Ledger(GL),Accounts Payable(AP),Fixed Assets(FA)and other modules.The system combines the advanced computer technology and management concept to achieve the integration of enterprise's high level of Finance and industry,so as to improve the management level of enterprise information and enhance the core competence of enterprise.China Post life insurance Limited by Share Ltd(short for China Post Insurance)is a wholly state-owned insurance company set up by China Post Group and the provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities).It is officially opened in September 9,2009,the registered capital is about 8 billion yuan and the headquarter is located in Beijing.At present,China Post Insurance has established its branch companies in 19 provinces.It adopts the International advanced enterprise resource management software——Oracle EBS to build its system and uses the GL,AP,FA and GIS to establish its centralized and unified accounting system.The aim of the system is to enhance the level of its management,to achieve its analysis capacity of finance with unified,accurate and timely standard for the implementation of its subordinate.In this essay,I regards China Post Insurance as the research object and study the design and implementation of Oracle EBS financial management system in this company.EBS financial management system in the China Post Insurance is based on four modules which are GL,AP,FA and Global Intercompany System(GIS).The system is established according to the integrated system platform,the standardized data and unified process.The main work of this paper is to clear system functions requirements and system performance requirements through the analysis of the demand for enterprises.The finance module detailed function should be designed based on demand analysis and the existing technical.level,so as to help the post life to do system testing and support the system get on-line and ultimately assist the implementation of system operation.Based on the above discussion and analysis,the main significance of this research is to help China Post Insurance to enhance the level of construction according to the resource intensive,financial integration and professional process,and to enhance the core competitiveness at the same time to strengthen the financial management of the group about strategy and the profit.It will finally reduce financial risk and enhance the quality and timeliness of accounting information,also,it can provide high quality accounting services and decision-support information for group headquarters.
