The current radar system simulation has problems of low visualization level during the simulation of modeling process and slow running speed of simulation system.In order to solve aforementioned problems,in this paper,we introduce the multi-thread and the graphical technique into radar system simulation,construct graphical radar simulation system to improve its level of visualization and shorten its running time,and conduct research on radar system simulation techniques.To solve problems in radar system simulation,based on GNU Radio software platform,the thesis constructs graphical and multi-thread radar simulation system.We first analyze requirements of radar simulation system and propose GNU Radio based design scheme of graphical radar simulation system.Then,we analyze the timing problems,data transmission problems,module design problems and module interface problems of the multi-threaded simulation system,and explain the solutions proposed in this thesis combining the source code of the actual project.Later,according to the mathematical model of each module,we write the C++ code for a certain radar simulation system module based on Armadillo matrix library.We package,debug and test the code.Then the established simulation module is classified according to functions to reduce the design difficulty of the graphical simulation system.We program graphical and multi-thread simulation modules based on GNU Radio software,and conduct code debug and test.Finally,we connect different graphical radar simulation modules according to the radar signal flow in the GNU Radio software and complete the graphical radar simulation system structures.We have completed the design,implementation and testing of the above-mentioned graphical radar simulation system module and present the test results.The modeling environment,simulation system function,simulation system running speed and simulation system stability are tested,and the according results are present.After test,our graphical radar simulation system works correctly and stably.Compared with single-thread radar simulation system,our system runs faster.We successfully apply the multi-thread and the graphical technology to the radar simulation,which improves the visualization degree of the modeling simulation and the running speed of the simulation system,and has certain engineering application value.
