The Airborne Pulse Doppler Radar (PD Radar) Signal Processing System simulatesthe working process of real-world PD radar by using computer simulation techniques.It has been an important tool for modern radar system analyzing, design and education.The PD Radar Signal Processing System based Waveform Visualizing SimulationTechnique adapts the parameterized simulation method of signal processing theory ofPD Radars as its design method. By constructing a computer simulation model whichincludes an entire signal processing procedures of radar system, the technique is able todisplay the real-time waveform processing results of PD radars working under variousmodes with different parameters. Thus it brings innovations to both research methodsand practical activities.Starting with the structure and functions of the Airborne PD Radar SimulationSystem, this paper introduces the design principles, structure, functions and workingprocess. Then based on the model related theories, this paper presents the MATLABsimulation results of radar emission signal, target echo, clutter waveform, systemnoises and radar signal processing, which are later used to construct the parameterizedmodel. At last, this paper introduced the Waveform Visualizing Algorithmprogrammed by Visual C++. And the running effects are presented.
