| News is the discourse of times,and the discourse is the epitome of times.What is behind the change of news discourse is the evolution of social history and the development of ideological culture.Study on the change of news discourse can not only sum up the change of the media's and the audience's attitude and general reporting rules,but also,to a certain extent,discover different social stages of social cognition and social behavior expression on the basis of news events,then explores the social mentality,to discuss how news discourse constructs our society,thus the news can do its better for social development.This research uses a general idea of qualitative analysis,chooses the special theme of disaster news as its research basis,and choose the network news specials from Sina(from1999 to 2016)as the research object and sample database,and tries to discover the social significance hidden behind the change of news discourse.My specific ideas are as follows:First of all,construct the theoretical basis of the research.I'll determine the scope of the study by defining the keywords "disaster news","news network",and "Discourse",and make a brief analysis and interpretation on Van Dijk's theory of news discourse;then dismantle Van Dijk's theoretical framework to explain the specific meaning of macro structure,micro structure,discourse style and discourse rhetoric,thus to build the analysis model which is combined with the actual needs of this study.Secondly,determine the sample.According to Van Dijk's theory of news discourse and the news' own characteristics,I'll select 18 reports as samples which are the first news about disaster in the network news specials,and make a detailed analysis on the change of news discourse by using analysis model mentioned above.Thirdly,make an in-depth analysis of the causes of the change of discourse with the sample from two aspects of inside and outside.Finally,make a dialectical analysis of the good trend and existing problems through the change of Sina's disaster news discourse,and sum up the social values of the change of discourse to guide the news discourse,and to make news discourse better to serve the society,which is the fundamental purpose of my research on discourse and its change.According to the analysis above,the main conclusions are as follows: firstly,the discourse change of Sina's natural disaster network news specials is mainly reflected in that the discourse becomes more and more oriented,rational and pragmatic,gains its humanity,and the general characteristics of discourse is the change of discourse type that political discourse translates into economic discourse and humanistic discourse.Secondly,the discourse change of Sina's natural disaster network news specials has its own unique social value,which has adverse effect on the construction of the society,the change is of great significance in strengthening social risk awareness,promoting the social democratic process,increasing the public's social identity,protecting the dynamic balance of media discourse field,studying the evolution of social psychological and cultural structure and maintaining the mainstream discourse authority etc.What is my research's biggest value is that I make a detailed analysis on the discourse change trajectory combining discourse analysis and social practice,to summarize the general rule of the change of news discourse and discover its unique social value of the change of discourse.I hope that the conclusion of my research is beneficial to academic discussion and industry practice. |
