The Network News Of Disaster Research

In twenty-first Century, the network has gradually become more and more dependent on information sources. In2014thirty-third "development China Internet Statistics Report" shows, China netizens to "network news" this application rate as high as79.6%. Thus, with the popularization of Internet, the way of getting news are gradually changing.There are some words on the Internet said that the21st century is a hard period of frequent disasters for the whole human society:SARS in2003; the Wenchuan earthquake in2008; Japan’s fukushima nuclear leak in2011and the Ya’an earthquake in2013. It is just the flash moment of these disasters that bring people overestimated loss and serious threat to the life and property safety of the masses. And the series of characteristics and influence of these disasters makes information demand of these events increasing in extremely short times.By drawing a comparison between the traditional and the new network media in reporting news of disaster events, this paper makes a conclusion that the network news feature on the disaster information appears timelier, more comprehensive and it combines a variety of or media representation, providing a new interactive platform for the public. Despite the unsurpassable aspects of the network news topic in reporting disaster events, it still exists the same problems with the traditional reports like false information, emotional problems and specifically even spreading false information and manufacturing wrong opinions without any news literacy of public. Based on the requirements of journalistic professionalism on news, this paper puts forward that improving the information integration, attaching more importance to the planning and changing the simple report into a deep interpretation of disaster news should be launched to make a new and comprehensive network news project on disaster events with conforming to the nature and feature of the website.
