With the development of information technology and popularity of smart mobile terminal,mobile media platform has become an important media for people to obtain travel information and an important tool for people to travel.City tourism image as a comprehensive performance of cultural connotation and external image features has important cultural and aesthetic value.The application of cultural connotation and image features into digital tourism products design is not only conductive to enhance the communication effects of city tourism brand,but also conductive to enhance cultural and aesthetic characteristics of digital tourism products.Therefore,this article chose the APP design of Harbin tourism image as the research object,did some research on the design strategy and implement method of APP which based on city tourism image,inquired new communication method,new user experience and virus spreading effects of city tourism image in the new media environment.First of all,this article researched on the concept and elements of city tourism image,thought that city tourism image consists of three parts: geographical and spacial elements,historical and cultural elements and tourism service elements.City tourism image can be thought of as a subjective impression of tourism city and a subjective inflection of cultural connotation and external image of tourism city in tourists' mind.Secondly,this article took the APP design of Harbin tourism image as an example,positioned Harbin tourism image as “romantic ice city” based on city' s culture,environment and public cognition.Three design strategy which called personalized design strategy,smart design strategy and emotional design strategy were also proposed from three perspective: tourism city,tourists and media.And then,these design strategy were applied to the design of application.Lastly,this article evaluated the effects of user experience and communication of the application.After experimental demonstration,this design was proved to have good usability,functionality,culture and emotion.It not only can satisfy tourists' need,but also can satisfy the need of city tourism image communication by mobile phone.It was proved to be a practical,cultural and beautiful product.
