With the continuous progress of modern manufacturing technology,machine vision applications more and more widely,at the same time,industrial applications on the video resolution,image processing speed and processing accuracy requirements continue to increase.In the post-PC era,smart cameras have become a hotspot in the field of machine vision.It combines video image acquisition,processing,analysis,transmission and other functions in one,and has high performance,low power consumption,miniaturization and other characteristics,which in different industries have a wide range of applicationsThis thesis focuses on the core of the embedded machine vision-HD video capture and processing system,discusses the Zynq-7000 platform based on high-definition video capture and processing system Linux transplantation,video processing,IP core driver design,hardware accelerated character recognition processing and other key technologies.First,the basic characteristics of Zynq-7000 platform "FPGA + ARM" are analyzed,and the whole framework of high-definition video acquisition and processing is proposed.High-definition CMOS image acquisition,FPGA image preprocessing and video image cache are realized.Then transplant the embedded system on ARM,including U-Boot transplantation,Linux kernel transplantation,Ramdisk file system transplantation,OpenCV library migration and device tree design.At the same time in-depth understanding of the Linux driver and hardware IP core relationship,V4L2 device driver framework and the use of API based on the design of the video IP core driver.At the application layer,the video stream acquisition and transmission control based on V4L2 framework is realized,and the image character recognition algorithm is implemented on ARM.Finally,the HD video acquisition and processing system developed in this project is tested in real time.The system collects high-definition video images smoothly and clearly,and realizes the real-time processing of character recognition.The result is superimposed on the video image and displayed on the HDMI screen.This system uses "FPGA + ARM" hardware and software collaborative way to build high-definition video acquisition and processing system fast,image recognition algorithm can be expanded integration of high.This system has a certain theoretical significance and application value.
