The high-speed serial bus builds the signal processing platform,with high bandwidth,low latency,scalability and other characteristics.It has been widely used.At present,ATCA platform commonly uses DSP,FPGA and these combination to achieve signal processing,there is poor scheduling,inter-chip interface overhead problem.Heterogeneous multi-core processor Zynq integrates ARM processor core(PS)and programmable logic block(PL),can achieve software processing and hardware acceleration of the efficient switching,to solve the multi-chip data transmission bandwidth bottleneck.The AMC card acts as a replaceable unit in the ATCA,improving system flexibility.Based on the design and implementation of AMC signal processing board based on ATCA platform,this paper designs and implements a signal processing board with strong processing power,high bandwidth and good expansibility with Zynq-7000 programmable device as the core,and enhanced ATCA Platform processing power and scalability.The main work is as follows:1.Board hardware design and implementation.The ATCA protocol specification and the AMC standard,the integrated board function index,completes the chip selection,the board plan design,under the guidance of the agreement and the program instruction,completes the schematic design and the hardware realization,including the power system,the clock system,the reset system And the storage circuit,start configuration circuit,board status monitoring circuit design and implementation.2.Design and implementation of key interface of board.Based on the XAUI IP core,the corresponding interface is designed and the 10 Gigabit Ethernet link is completed to realize the high-speed serial communication of the board.Based on the MIG IP core,the DDR3 SDRAM interface is designed to realize the data read and write,providing caching for programmable logic;to multi-IP core combination of the way,the design of AXI interface,Zynq-7000 internal PS and PL between the high-bandwidth communications,reflecting the heterogeneous multi-core processor architecture advantages.3.Board debugging and application validation.The debugging of various functional units of the board and the system debugging under the ATCA platform are completed.The embedded Linux transplantation method based on Zynq-7000 is analyzed in detail,and the embedded Linux system is started in the way of hardware and software co-design.The image edge detection experiment based on OpenCV library is realized,and the function of board and Linux system is verified.The board debugging and experimental results show that the board modules are stable,and the system based on the board has high flexibility and good scalability,which can enhance the processing capability of ATCA platform and expand its application range.
