With the development of the times and the progress of science and technology,the definition of video is higher and higher.At the same time,in the context of civil,industrial and other practical applications,the technical means of video compression are more and more advanced.In the research background of missile video compression and transmission in the military field,not only need to meet the integration design of high-definition video acquisition,compression and storage,but also need to consider the performance requirements of small volume and low power consumption.In this thesis,under the research background of a certain type of analog electronic missile's missile borne video compression transmission,aiming at the above design requirements,a set of high-definition video compression platform solution based on ZYNQ is proposed,which provides a reference for the design of miniaturization video compression platform,and has important application value and significance.The high-definition video compression platform designed and implemented in this thesis takes high-performance ZYNQ SOC as hardware platform,and uses H.264 video coding to compress and transmit high-definition video.Focus on the overall design of HD video compression platform,hardware and software design and implementation test.(1)Firstly,the overall design scheme of the high-definition video compression platform based on ZYNQ is given,the development environment is introduced,and the functional modules and technical difficulties in the design of software and hardware of the platform are analyzed SOC has the advantage of FPGA + ARM architecture.In the FPGA side,the acquisition and processing of high-definition video and compression coding are realized.In the arm side,the parameter control and data storage are realized.The advantages of ZYNQ SOC can be brought into full play by software and hardware division and collaborative processing,which greatly improves the flexibility of platform design.(2)In view of the technical difficulties existing in the design of software and hardware,the key problems existing in the specific work of the platform software and hardware design are deeply analyzed,and the solutions are given.The hardware logic module design mainly includes H.264 coding core,OV sensor driver,raw data acquisition and preprocessing,coding core control.While completing the design and packaging of these hardware logic modules,the most important H.264 coding core is simulated and verified.The software design is divided into system transplantation and application development.(3)After completing the design of software and hardware,the overall project is integrated and implemented,and the results of software and hardware implementation are analyzed and tested.Through the data comparison and test results analysis,the correctness of the design of the HD video compression platform is verified,which proves that the HD video compression platform can complete the acquisition,compression and storage of 1080 p,30fps HD video,and has the performance of small volume and low power consumption,which meets the design requirements.
