The development of electronics and high performance digitalize techniques make it possible for digital intermediate frequency signal processing. As the demand for wide band measurement rises,it is of great concern to achieve great signal quality while keeping the broad bandwidth. So this research is of great value and significance. The main bottle-neck of digital intermediate frequency signal processing comes from sampling process of ADC(Analog to Digital Converter). As the sample rate of modern ADC goes to GSPS(Giga Samples per Second),the high input bandwidth and precise working condition makes it difficult to achieve specific performance. This thesis mainly discussed the process of signal conditioning and sampling process and take an analysis on the limit of performance of whole system. The main work of this research is as follows:(1)By analyzing the nonlinear and noise performance of amplifier and components the total nonlinear and noise distortion are given. The theoretical limit of system is presented.(2)By discussing the theory of sampling,we analyze the limit of spurious free dynamic range. As for application,we discussed the methods to imporve SFDR performance.(3)We designed an IF signal processing platform with the implication of AD9467.3 types of system bandwidth of 10 MHz 30MHz and 70 MHz are achieved.(4)As for system test.By testing the system function and throughout performance, the results show that the system achieved 80 dBc for SFDR at 70 MHz center frequncy and the hardware platform functions as designed.
