To a certain degree,the rapid development of economy and innovations of new technology have increased the occurrence of social risks and crisis.In recent years,faced with the challenge of economic transition and social transformation,the frequency of emergencies with high risk has been increasing in China.As the social controller and crisis manager,how to make a timely effective communication with stakeholders,the public and media under pan-media linguistic environment is a matter of deep thinking and research for Chinese government.The crisis rhetoric discourse in information release is constrained by specific rhetorical situation,meanwhile it will also affect rhetorical situation.The inappropriate crisis rhetoric discourse will spark a public backlash,intensify social contradictions,cause secondary crisis frequency,and collapse the government image.However,the appropriate crisis rhetoric discourse can turn "crisis" as the "opportunity",improving the interest relations,and establish the good government image,make an effective communication and dialogue democracy to form a healthy public opinion environment,and help the crisis resolution.This paper takes the crisis rhetoric discourse of "8·12" explosion accident in Tianjin and "12·20" landslide accident in Shenzhen as main study objects,by using the case contrast and discourse analysis methods carry on research.The main content of the thesis is analysis the characteristics of crisis communication management,the causes of these characteristics,as well as coping strategies.The research mainly from the perspective of communication studies and rhetoric,and also combines with western classical rhetoric and new rhetoric theories to corroborate and analysis on paper's viewpoint.
