| In recent years,the "locust advertising","anti-water cargo","illegal accounted for" and other events occurred in Hong Kong,the opposition was clearly raised and the network argument and abuse gradually increased between two sides.Mainland people’s feelings towards Hong Kong become complicated.The original bright pearl seems to be bleak.The medium is an important part of building reality.It is true that the real and objective reports of Hong Kong society will digest the misunderstanding and cognitive blindness between the Mainland and Hong Kong,consolidating the emotional base of the Mainland and Hong Kong.This paper aims to study how the People’s Daily construct the image of Hong Kong since 1997,focusing on the framework characteristics and the discourse strategies of Hong Kong news.And then,this paper will summarize the factors and give the advice of the report.Through the analysis,we found that the annual number of Hong Kong news is relatively stable,expect individual years.the main theme of the report is politics,which is mostly in the news version.The most of Hong Kong news in People’s Daily were messages and pure text reports.As for the tendency to report,the Hong Kong news mostly were positive or neutral.As the discourse strategy,we found that at the macroscopic semantic level,the people’s daily usually use the "inverted pyramid" structure,the narrative closely related to the event,the structure is relatively simple and clear.As the sentence strategy,the Hong Kong news in People’s Daily prefer using action sentence and linkage sentence.As the context,the news appear political obviously and use a lot of metaphor rhetoric.Based on the analysis of the sample,this paper summarizes the image of Hong Kong constructed by People’s Daily and discusses the political,economic,cultural and media factors behind the image of Hong Kong,and makes recommendations on the improvement of the Hong Kong-related reports on the People’s Daily from the content and form. |
