Design And Implementation Of Campus Tour Guide System Based On Android Embedded Platform

Electronic tour guide system has become an indispensable part of the modern tourism industry;it can be seen in many famous scenic spots.With the improvement of college opening degree,the number of visitors interviewing university is gradually increasing.In order to give college visitors a direct campus impression,we need provide high quality multimedia guide service.Compared to some colleges launched official LBS applications,at present,although digital campus level of our school(JUST)is high,but its campus tour guide services also stay in the manual guide,paper map guide stage.In order to improve the information level of tourist industry,this paper designs a campus tour guide system based on Android embedded platform.The research work in this paper is as follows:Firstly,current situations of electronic tour guide system home and abroad are analyzed.Android development course,android system structure,and android development tools are researched.Also the basic use principles of related technologies,such as Baidu map and iFly MSP,are researched.Secondly,campus guide system ARM platform and hardware modules are constructed.Hardware platform uses tiny 4412;bottom board completes interface circuits of USB,UART,and LCD and so on,then we transplant android operating system on this terminal.In this paper,existing tiny4412 board and SIM808 module are connected through peripheral interface circuit;they consist of campus guide system prototype device.This device is tested to obtain GPS data,and get network communicationThirdly,according to software development process,this paper introduces visitors' need analysis,module design,interface design,and database design,finally JUST Guider APP software is completed.APP takes Eclipse?ADT as development tools.Combined with Baidu Map API and iFly MSP API,it makes expansion of geographic information service.APP is divided into campus information service,campus map service,multimedia service and expand service.Fourthly,GPS data processing based on tiny 4412 is researched.After GPS data analysis,GPS coordinate transformation and GPS position test,the position function of campus guide system is achieved,and we do GPS track record experiment.Fifthly,according to software test process,need review and design review are made,and we do a detailing functional test for campus guide system.The optimization directions of campus guide system are discussed.Finally,.JUST Guider software is released in Android application marketTest results show that the campus guide system has a friendly interface and strong expansibility;it can meet the needs of some independent visitors.If it is connected with our school's campus information system,it has a certain application prospect.
