New media communication plays an important role as more and more companies hold brand events in colleges.However,the communication effects of those campus events still lack of a feasible evaluation system.The research establishes an index system including 25 indexes which form 3 levels,based on brand communication theories and communication effect theories.The first level indexes include objective and subjective indexes.The second level indexes include news media index,social media index,events participation index,etc.The third level indexes include publication counts,click counts,reprint count,etc.This research leverages Analytic Hierarchy Process to calculate the questionnaires from domain experts to determine the index weights and finally forms the index evaluation system of the new media communication effect of Baidu campus events.Furthermore,the research analyzed and scored four campus brand events including Baidu Star Program Design Contest,Baidu-USTC Innovation Summer Campus,Baidu Autumn Recruitment Talk and Baidu-NJU Readjoy Contest to evaluate their communication effect and give feasibility advice to them.
