With the development of 3G/4G mobile Internet,technology of video-codec technology and smart mobile phone,people's consumption patterns on network has changed a lot.The live video system,of which real-time is the core feature,is becoming more and more popular in the application market.Using streaming media technology and mobile Internet video technology has become a research focus.Using streaming media server and transport protocol,streaming media technology continually send images,sound and other multimedia data from the streaming media server to the client simultaneously.The server only needs a very short delay sending data to clients,which can achieve real-time transmission effect.Streaming media technology can not only transmit data to the server in real-time,but also can transmit the finished video files.The video file has high requirements on the storage system;the storage system is the carrier of all media resources,so the performance of the storage system is decisive to the application performance of video service system to a great extent.Cloud storage technology provides good technical support for the construction of video storage system.To build an efficient,lower-cost video storage system,this paper introduces the Hadoop distributed file system(HDFS)technique to built HDFS file-system,and uses it to store massive video files.HDFS refers to a distributed file system designed for low-end computers.Besides,it has good compatibility,no matter what the models or how the performance of computers is can be added to the cluster by installing the software.Hadoop software has powerful storage scalability.It can be extended to increase the storage ability of video files at any time according to meet the needs of HDFS cluster.This paper starts with the analysis on the requirements of direct broadcasting,describes the advantages of broadcast technology based on the Red5 server.Then analyses the video transmission protocol RTMP(Real Time Messaging Protocol).The paper proposes a design scheme of video file storage system based on HDFS.This system is composed of streaming media server,client,Web server and HDFS cluster.The server provide live and on-demand video functions for users by using mobile phone or PC as video source to response users' broadcasting requests.The Web server implements user-registration and file upload,download,browse and other basic functions.HDFS cluster is responsible for the massive video file storage.The design of this system is the integration of mobile Internet technology,streaming media technology and HDFS storage technology.Android platform has open software development environment and abundant resources,which is suitable for various research features.Streaming media decoding technology is mature enough to produce small streaming media file which can be transmitted or accessed swiftly to network,convenient and time-saving.HDFS has successfully passed the running test of thousands of nodes,and been applied to large-scale commercial application system.Research and development of technology is mature,reliable,affordable,and scalable.The result of testing and investigation demonstrates that this system fully meets the design objectives,and achieved good application effect.
