With the rapid development of the Internet, the push-off of the large online video site, network video gradually coming into the view of people, while the height of the popularity of portable photography equipment, making the amount of the explosive growth of Internet audio and video data, resulting the storage problem of mass of audio and video files has become a hot research field of Internet. Distributed file system represented by HDFS, achieve a high bandwidth, distributed, scalable, portable file system by the MapReduce technology, such products have become the main solutions for mass data processing. For stream file distribution process, the origins of the media server——Red5as a Java language-implementation, open-source product, with the same scalability based on Flash client applications to give good support, good user experience. Therefore, development and implementation of a set of processing solutions based distributed storage systems for streaming media distribution has important practical significance and application prospects.This paper describes the overall demand of laboratory data center project, introduce Red5streaming media server involved a number of key technologies, such as the RTMP protocol communication mechanism, encapsulation format, as well as ActionScript technology in use in the Flash client. Secondly, focuses on the composition of real-time stream processing components, functions and concrete realization highlight which is based on the distributed storage systems. Then introduced in detail of HDFS related concepts and technologies to be and Red5cluster based on the data center project to build the program. Finally, through the introduction of load balancing mechanism, based on the business needs of the entire system, to achieve the load balancing algorithm, and the complet the analysis of the test data of Red5cluster testing, which is based on the performance of this algorithm, proves the entire system in the case of a large number of access to the load to achieve a good distribution effect.
