Design And Implementation Of Work Flow Management System Based On HTML5

With the developing of the whole society,the mobile internet had been merged into the daily work in the companies.Many corporations especially the Multiple-Nationsones have created the position for offsite staffs in the IT or Sales departments.They can work outside,connecting company's VPN network and communicate on wireless device.However the traditional communications have big limitation.To them,the unsupported telephone call system record,the slow connection speed for VPN access,and the unsupported for VPN access for smartphone device brings troubles and cause directly to the low efficiency.The ERP or OA system basing on the interfacing to intranetand extranet,accessible via smartphone device and intergrading with workflow,can solve this problem effectively.The research for this article is to investigate the HTML5 based workflow system.It is a fashion workflow system which utilizes the HTML5 technology,develops with the ThinkPHP Framework,creates extendable,high effective and adoptable to different scenarios.It can be accessedfrom different operation systems,and in future it can be used to create Apps.This will bring extreme convenience to daily work.The thesis introduces the procedures,deigning from the ongoing company project,using the JQuery plugin JsPlumb,enhancing the process of the previous system&the traditional workflow management system design,creating the HTML5 WorkFlow sub-system integrating with the online collaborative work system – Focalpoint.There's also the research in it for the WorkFlow applications on smartphone,and the design for a system can be accessed by different mobile devices and browsers.During the research,I studied lots of the original designs for the workflow engine,by the guide of project solid requirement,and finally successfully made it integrated with the original system,which enables the project members to access via wireless network,and complete the work with the help of workflow system.The development utilized the design model of workflow engine,and by using the corresponding develop framework & add-ins,accomplish the goal of integration to the old system.By the completion to the development,we found that it ran well on mobile devices,and owns the same abilities in different OS.The UI looks fine,user can base on it to design,execute and record all operations.The good responding rate and high security with the low requirement to the device hardware also be highlighted.After completing the thesis we will keep improving the system,and deliver new functionalities such as Kanban,team share,etc.
