The Olympic Games featuring the independent thinking,organizations and operating system have become a sports feast since the year 1894.The successive holdings of the Olympic Games are a reflection of longing for peace and amity.Nevertheless,the meanings embedded in the sports are more than the competitive spirits in the sports field.Known for the global media event,especially on the opening,the Olympic Games are given the “ added value ”.The Olympics are strengthening the understanding for hosting countries in advancing and enriching the culture,and outputting the ideology under the circumstance of inter-culture communication.The ideology is not only confined in the definition of what is the mainstream political sense of value,but also defined to a larger extent in this abstract including history,traditions,modern culture,social standards and outspreading ideas.Dating back to the history,whether in peace or in war,the accordance with or conflict of the interests,is the foothold.And the ideology is a reflection of national interests.The conflicts reached at its highest in Cold War,causing the hostility between the two groups(the Soviet and the US).The “Iron curtain” was passing through the Europe,and also Asia.Interests are the nature of the two groups under the cover of ideology.Nowadays,although peace and development are the issues of the day,yet the defend for national interests still exist.What is different from the past is that hot war and cold war are not in accordance with the requirements of the times,thus the spreading of the ideology featuring the issues of the age comes up such as public diplomacy and culture output.The opening of Olympic Games known for the global media event,is not only the inevitable part of the Olympic Games,but also a platform for ideology spreading and national interests.China introduced its history,traditional culture,and modern achievements by macroscopical narrating structure in 2008,filling the vacancy of no hosting the Olympics while the 4th Olympic Games in London introduced the contents of beautiful scenery,Industrial Revolution,Information Times and showed the British humor,literature,arts etc.The abstract focuses on the different openings between Beijing and London,analyzes the differences and gives the weight to code of different elements from the perspective of Hole' Theory of Code so that constructive suggestions can be put forward for the use of strategy in improving the ideology in China.
