| This article uses the frame theories and methods, namely the theme from the reports, sources, tone, genre, graph structure, were compared with levels of high, medium and low, summed up the framework of their own characteristics and the similarities and differences between the two, and explain the causes.Study found that:Xinhua news agency took a broad, local framework and main event schema framework, each frame has an internal unity in high, medium and low level jointly shaping the different characteristics of the framework. The report shows the image of China that peaceful rise, open, fair, objective and thriving. For the London Olympic Games it builds a financial strain disorganized the hosting country image. The reason of different framework is Xinhua News Agency has positioned itself, journalists’ ideology or political affiliation and cater to the Chinese reader’s heart and other factors.In addition, the most interesting thing in two Olympic Games is "Liu Xiang out of the race", which is also discussed in this paper. The themes and sources framework that Xinhua News Agency reported in two Olympic Games are slightly different, and the common is that positive reports, highlight the wishes framework. |
