In this thesis,the research starts from the overview of IOT(Internet of things) technology,the overall system design,hardware design and software design based on an Internet of things intelligent indoor environmental quality monitoring system.It mainly focuses on an Internet of things system which uses the ZigBee service as a core and the ARM microprocessor as a control base.It illustrates its structure and working principle and explains the design framework of the entire system.Firstly,we studied the current status and application prospect of the Internet of things system and introduced the related technical background.It presents the overall plan of design task on the basis of task requirement analysis.Taking ZigBee as the core construction system,the real-time collection and monitoring of indoor temperature,humidity,carbon dioxide concentration,light intensity and other environmental information can be achieved by using the related sensors.In the system design,serial is the main information exchange channel between the ZigBee chip and the ARM development board.ARM microprocessor connects the information to the Internet and then users are able to check the information collected by the system through Internet access.By storing the data retrieved by ARM development board in the database and leveraging Linux to set up a network test platform,users are able to access the information through devices on the internet.In the system design process,a simplified design method has been used to make the system structure more simple and compact.In the meantime,it's also possible to replace the different hardware components according to the different function requirement to support more device connection so that a real internet of things can be achieved.
