Abstract/Summary:
The prosperity of domestic manufacturing made the technology of automatic production line widely applied and fast-developed, thus enhancing production efficiency and product quality, improving working environment, reducing energy consumption and saving materials. The efficiency of equipment also required operation personnel of high quality, such as the efficiency of equipment monitoring, equipment maintenance, and emergency treatment, etc.. In order to cultivate front-line operators of high quality and high skills, this project designed the experimental platform of automatic production line based on PLC.This experimental platform of automatic production line is made up of 5 work units, namely feed, assembly, processing, sorting and transportation. Each work unit is equipped with a PLC to complete its control requirement by its control center of Mitsubishi FX series PLC. Each primary station, as well as the subsidiary stations realizes data interconnection by adopting RS485 serial communication mode, thus forming distributed field control network and finally configure primary station and subsidiary stations in the manufacturing process by means of touch-screen technology. The whole experimental platform of automatic production line referred to the authentic enterprise’s actual automatic production lines, and “moved” the size-reduced mechanical components to the teaching workshop in various universities and vocational technology colleges on the premise of no function deficiency, which can be used for both practice teaching and open training.The electric development for the experimental platform of automatic production line can be divided into three levels. Firstly, the design of electrical development plan, including analysis of experimental platform composition, working process of the system, category selection of controllers, the processing of network communication and the confirmation of electrical control plan; secondly, the design of pneumatic system and electrical control; finally, the completion of PLC programming and field configuration of touch screen, so as to achieve the goal of electrical development for whole experiment platform.
