Design And Implementation Of Student Achievement Management System For Anshan Normal College

Academic affairs management is the core of the management work in college. Efficient and well organized academic affairs management will have great helpful for creating good teaching environment, improving teaching quality and facilitating teachers and students. The students' achievement management is one of the important components of the academic affairs management. The achievement plays an important role to reflect the learning level and the teaching quality. With the continuing expansion of the college size, the number of the students and teachers is increasing, which leading the more complex process of the academic affairs especially the achievement management. The achievement plays the decisive role in the scholarship evaluation and outstanding students selection. The traditional manual achievement management has the flaws like unprecise treating process, unsafety guarantees measures about the achievement storage, and need more staff. Underling the promotion of the college management modernization trend, it becomes an imperative requirement of the scientific and rational management for the achievement management. Under the help of the information technology, building the advanced achievement management system playing a positive role in promoting the safety and consistence of the achievement storage, reducing the academic affairs work intensity, improving work efficiency, providing data sharing between different sectors, and gradually realizing the modernization, scientific and information management of college management, and training talents of higher education in the new century.This paper, based on the theory of the software engineering, discussed the design and implementation of students' achievement management system of Anshan Normal College.Firstly, presenting the background and meaning of developing this system, and analyzing the present application situation of the system at home and abroad. With the object-oriented programming method and technology, the requirement analysis process started from the office of academic affairs, who proposed constructing this system. The system user types, including teacher, student, teaching secretary and staff of academic affairs office, were defined after the thorough understanding of the process about students' achievement management system. The role-based access control and permission management are designed by the user types. Based on the business process of different users, the logic function modules about basic datamanagement, business data management, achievement management are designed essentially.And based on the system application environment, the B/S model with different patterns of inside and outside was selected as the system architecture. Based on the outline design, the main modules and sub-modules are analyzed and designed in detail. With the object-oriented programming method, designing the function classes and table structure of the database.Finally, the system implemented and carried out the test running the system.The pattern of the role-based access control and permission management is able to manage the users flexibly, improving the system security and management experience.Optimizing the business process, and providing the security manners to access the system in different network environments. With the system implementation, the traditional students' achievement management manners are changed, and improving the information and modernization level of the academic affairs management.
