| With the popularization of the information technology in hospitals, doctors and nurses could access patients’ test results, medical history, and disease development course, as well as analyze and compare image data through CIS and NIS, which improves doctors and nurses’ efficiency and effectiveness in nursing, diagnosis and treatment. However, it’s a shame to ” the last ten meters” of hospital informatization, the advancement of traditional CIS and NIS are restricted to the immovability of traditional cable networks. Doctors and nurses have to carry heavy medical records and a bulk of printed laboratory sheets and photographic films to refer on ward-round. Nowadays, the hospital informatization technology is highly advanced. It is hoped that wireless network could tap into hospital information systems, therefore, raising the efficiency and quality of hospital service by allowing the use of mobile devices like PAD on ward-round and recording the medical order execution. In order to solve problems stated above, the mobile medical-care management information system plan was raised. From a practical standpoint, this paper analyzes the process of current doctors’ ward-round and nurses’ execution of medical advice and other daily operations, combines practical demands and the application of relevant information systems, selects aspects like system architecture, modeling design, design methods, and key technologies refers to, and discusses in detail the design and realization process of mobile health-care MIS system. This paper first explains the service conditions of current clinical system CIS and NIS, analyzes the demands for mobile medical MIS system from clinical staff and management operations. This paper uses the concept of zero-roaming wireless LAN networking, virtualization, load balance, and other related computer technologies, as well as C/S architecture, Objective-C and Java language standards, and introduces the design method and thinking for mobile health-care MIS system. The system uses C/S structure, builds application model with SQL Server. This paper specifically describes five main modules of this system, including, the medical order entry, clinical information records check, physical signs collection, medical order execution, and nursing rounds. It also talks about the implementation methods for actual use. The project of mobile health-care MIS system has passed testing and trial operation. It performs well currently and satisfies the practical needs of hospitals. |
