AXIe is a new Automatic Test System(ATS)based on ATC A,inherit ing the advantages of ATC A in power consumption,performance,platform management,etc.With high flexibility and extensibility,excellent spac e utilization and energy efficiency,AXIe system has broad development prospects.Currently,the ATS is developing toward mixed ATS system.Considering the demand of complex,high performance test scenarios,this thesis presents a design scheme of a AXIe-based mixed ATS.The thesis analyzes and summarizes the key technologies needed to imple ment this system,then makes intensive research on the AXIe data transmission topology,embedded controller design technology and transformation technology of different ATSs.The research on AXIe data transmission topology mainly includes the base interface and fabric interface that implements gigabit Ethernet and PC Ie,trigger,synchronization and timing interface,the local bus and IPMB bus.The thesis analyzes these interfaces,and obtains a topology model of each interface,then designs a 9-slot backplane and a system module based on these model.The embedded controller is the control core of the AXIe system even the whole mixed ATS.The research includes functional circuits of the embedded controller and the modular computer design technology.In addit ion to the interfaces of AXIe instrument module,the controller also has computer's universal peripheral interface.To improve AXIe controller 's versatility,the thesis presents a scheme of AXIe controller design using COMe modular computer,and designs an AXIe controller using the schme of "COMe computer module + carrier".The thesis studies the transfer technique of test system,and analyzes the transfer scheme of GPIB,LXI,PXIe to AXIe system.Aiming at the problem of PXIe-AXIe switching technique,two schemes-the PC Ie cable and the PXIe-AXIe adapter are presented.The former is implemented by using the system module to extend the PCIe cable interface.The latter prov ides data transmission,trigger,synchronization and timing signals for the PXIe module,and has better performance.The thesis designs an adapter module to validate the research.Finally,the test system is constructed to verify the functions of each module,and the function of each module is verified to meet the design requirements,which validates the correctness of the relevant technology.
