Lens has a wide range of uses in life, scientific research, military fields and so on,however, the atomization of the lens surface significantly reduces the transmittance, which will result in inconvenience to life, production and so on.Therefore, the development of anti-fog lens has important theoretical and practical significances.Through the study of lens surface wettability, this project was proposed to use CO2 laser to prepare periodic hydrophilic structure on the surface of the lens by double-beam interference and direct etching to change the surface hydrophilicity and achieve the anti-fog effect.Using the processing system of double-beam interference, the output wavelength of the laser was 9.6?m,the output power was 56 W,the single exposure time was 20 ms,the number of exposure times was 3 times, and the angle of double beam was 18°,we found that the stripe width was 31.3?m,and the surface contact angle of lens was 58°.Using the processing system of direct etching, the output wavelength of the laser was 10.6?m,the laser pulse repetition frequency was 5kHz,the duty ratio was 20%,peak power was 35 W,galvanometer scan speed was 2700mm/s,and the number of single channel scanning was 3 times,we found thatthe groove width was 50.9?m,the period was 60?m,and the lens surface contact angle was 72.6°.Both of these methods changed the surface wettability of the lens from 78° to the smaller contact angle.Compared to by direct etching, the etched trenchwas more uniform, and the width was narrower by interferometry. It effectively improved the hydrophilic property of the lens surface.
