Simulation Of Distillation Process Based On CAPE-OPEN

Distillation is a very complex mixture of separation processes in chemical production.With the widespread use of computers,chemical simulation software is widely used in chemical industry,especially for the distillation process simulation.Chemical process developers can directly adjust the operating conditions of the distillation column on the computer to achieve optimum production conditions and apply it to production practice.Aspen Plus,PROII,Hysys,ChemCAD is common used in the distillation process simulation.As the distillation separation is the core of the chemical process,the distillation process simulation has become a hot and difficult problem in chemical process simulation.In this paper,object-oriented method and Visual C++ programming language are used in developing the CAPE-OPEN standard distillation unit module in the VS 2005 software development environment.Based on the steady-state mathematical model of the distillation tower module,the different solving algorithms of the distillation column were studied,and the applicable range of the module was explored.In addition,the GUI interface of distillation column module is created.After obtaining the operating parameters and import parameters on the user interface of the distillation column unit operation module,the distillation column can be carried out under the compiled dynamic link library file.The distillation column module is used to simulate the distillation process of ethylbenzene-styrene distillation column,second-effect evaporative distillation column and ethanol dehydration distillation column.From the simulation results,top temperature,bottom temperature and composition of the stream in outlet is consistent with Aspen Plus,,which can meet the separation requirements.The distillation unit module can be used for the simulation of distillation process,and can be used in chemical simulation software based on CAPE-OPEN standard.After the actual distillation process of simulation calculation,it is proved that the distillation unit operation module can be used for the separation of polar and non-polar mixture.In addition,the design requirements,sensitivity analysis and other functions can be increase based on it,so that it can better carry out the distillation process simulation.
