With the development of digital multimedia,the demand for high-rate transmission and efficient processing of digital multimedia signals is becoming stronger and stronger.To satisfy this demand,compression coding technology has been widely used.In this paper,based on the traditional video compression coding circuit,a different high-definition video compression coding circuit is designed.It utilizes the FMC interface to separate the control part and the functional part of the video compression coding circuit.The system can effectively enhance the versatility and flexibility of the video compression coding module.The designed video compression coding circuit system in this paper includes high definition multimedia interface(HDMI)module,video compression coding module,main control module,memory module,power module and FMC module.The HDMI chip is ADI's ADV7612,which can support high definition video up to 1080 P.The implementation of video compression coding module adopts ASIC solution,which is Fujitsu's MB86H46,which supports full HD video 1080 P in encoding in H.264 format;The FMC module uses a LPC with160 pins.The specific implementation of the proposed system is described as follows: Firstly,system design and planning are put forward to ensure the design tasks and the design direction;Secondly,according to the requirements of system function,the overall structure of the system is put forward,and the performance requirements of the system are analyzed.The key technologies(HDMI technology,video compression coding technology and FMC interface technology)are studied in order to pave the way for the hardware implementation.Then,we accomplish the hardware design and the circuit implementation,which includes the selection of components,the main function module hardware design and implementation,schematic diagram and PCB design by Altium Designer,which includes the components layout and PCB layout.Finally,debug and verify the system program by VHDL on Xilinx ZC706 development board including the HDMI module hardware and software configuration,the process of HDMI video data FPGA and the configuration of video coding module function.The hardware and software configuration of HDMI module is realized from FPGA platform and Vivado platform respectively.The implemented FPGA program of HDMI video data includes three key units: color space conversion,down sampling and up sampling.The circuit designed can support the FPGA platform with both the encoded TS stream signal and uncompressed HDMI video data for high-speed processing.According to our design,the FMC card can also work independently without FPGA platform,thus greatly expand the scope of application of the video coding system.By verification,the HD video compression coding system based on FMC can achieve real-time encoding requirements,greatly reduce the development period and cost.
