Digital TV technology has made great progress with the development of computer technology,image compression codec technology and network communication technology.Digital TV technology promotes the development of multi-functional intelligent multimedia terminal systems.Embedded multimedia processing equipments play an important role in our daily life,it is the key part of home entertainment system.These entertainment systems provide many high-quality audio-visual products for people.People will be able to have a better audio-visual experience by using all these products.Multimedia technology is the most important part of these audio-visual equipments,audio and video synchronization technology is the key of multimedia technology.Audio and video synchronization packaging method and implementation is discussed in this paper based on the MPEG-2(Moving Picture Experts Group)protocol and compression coding technology.The implementation platform is based on TMS320DM365 digital media processor using Da Vinci multimedia processing technology.The functional requirements and performance requirements of the multithreaded software model are analyzed according to the application fields and hardware platform conditions.The multithreaded software model is divided into four parts: the main thread module,audio thread module,video thread module and packaging module.The audio and video synchronization scheme is given based on the analysis of TS stream format.Audio and video synchronization packaging software is realized with C language.And the software first calls functions and posix interface functions of Unix system to realize the main thread module,video thread module and audio thread module multi-threaded software model.Then,it calls ffmpeg open source framework API functions to realize audio and vedio thread synchronous encapsulation.The audio and video synchronization packaging software is tested on the development platform.The functional test results show that the audio and video synchronization packaging software is correct.The performance test results show that the efficiency of the multi-thread model is high.All these test results show that the audio and video synchronization packaging method proposed in this paper can be effectively used in monitoring systems of various application fields.
