Studies On The Protection Of Electromagnetic Radiation From Mobile Communication Base Station

Mobile communication has been an important part of modern integrated services network(ISN),and It is known as one of the biggest three emerging communications,along with optical fiber communication and satellite communication.However,the construction of mobile communication base station becomes a common social problem.It is urgent to take effective action to regulate the radiations of some mobile communication base stations which exceed the national standard of electromagnetic radiation.This paper aims to put forward the requirements of radiation protection distance and antenna height based on the equipment composition of mobile communication base station,and antenna parameters.What's more,the power-density contribution of height and distance was estimated by using horizontal directive pattern and vertical directive pattern of typical mobile communication base station,as well as the recommended method in “Guideline on management of radioactive environmental protection-electromagnetic radiation monitoring instruments and methods(HJ/T 10.2-1996)”.Through the analysis of actual cases,the cause of electromagnetic radiation exceeding the relevant national standards has been found,which is caused by the illegal antenna erection.Based on the theoretical analysis of prediction and electromagnetic shielding principle,the practical demonstrations have been implemented.For the excessive base station,first consider the adjustment of the antenna azimuth,so that the super-standard point to avoid the main lobe range of the antenna,followed by increasing the antenna,the antenna and the punctuation of the vertical height of more than 5m above,and can reduce the antenna transmission power to reduce the Surrounding environmental impact.For the need to consider the point of shielding protection,you can use thin metal conductive material for shielding protection.
