In recent years, service-oriented architecture (SOA) is widely used in the Internet of things (IoT). SOA encapsulates the functionality of the devices in the Internet of Things into loosely coupled services so that resources such as sensors, cameras, and other mobile devices in the Internet of Things can be represented as Web services, allowing users or machines to access their functionality or common interface of data over the Internet. Compared with the traditional Web services, the number of IoT services growths faster and larger. How to find the services that satisfy users' needs quickly and accurately in a mass of IoT services becomes a very challenging subject, and service clustering has been proved to be one of the most effective way to improve the efficiency and accuracy of service discovery. Therefore, it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study how to cluster the Internet of Things more effectively. At the same time, with the Internet of Things gradually penetrate all walks of life, a growing number of IoT platforms are arising. And there is a large heterogeneity between these IoT platforms,making the service information between the IoT platforms is difficult to share. When we want to implement a new feature, we must repeat the deployment of equipment and the development of all the necessary services, resulting in a waste of resources, which seriously hindered the further development of IoT.In order to solve these problems, this paper first constructs a unified IoT service information description model according to the characteristics of IoT service. Then, we propose an improved service clustering method to improve the accuracy of service clustering. After that, the paper studies the directory service and puts forward the application of directory service in the Internet of Things, and builds the IoT service information tree and IoT service identification mechanism.At the same time, an IoT service state caching algorithm is proposed,which can largely alleviate the efficiency losses brought by frequent modifications of availability status information of relevant services in catalogue as a result of unstable equipment. Finally, based on the above research results, this paper designs and implements a prototype of IoT service management system based on directory service and makes a lot of experiments to verify the service clustering method proposed in this paper. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
