As the rapid growth of IoT (Internet of Things), IoT resources are explosively increasing. It’s becoming an urgent issue that how to connect and share the huge number of IoT resources. Directory service technology is unrelated to environment and a mature solution for the problem on the interconnection of open systems and the integration of heterogeneous systems. To resolve the above problems, we need to define a model to share and fuse IoT resources across different definitions of data, structure and syntax. This thesis intends to resolve it by adapting a system based on directory protocol.Firstly, this thesis investigates the current IoT resources, and formulates the standard of IOTILDPS (IoT Interconnection Lightweight Directory Protocol and Service) by referring to the protocol of "Information technology Open Systems Interconnection Directory" and Combined with the characteristics of the IoT resources such as the limited of intelligence ability. IOTILDPS incorporates5parts:resources classification, universal identification framework, resource meta-data description model, service set and security considerations. A classification method by the attribute is proposed; In the unified identification part, consulting and integration of the existing standard, propose an unified identity method based on geographical location, category and sequential number; The safety specification for storage and communication is also considered. Then, this thesis summarizes meta data requirements of IoT resources, so as to model different IoT resources with a unified meta data description model. We also propose sharing IoT resources with six-tuple metadata description model, and extend the model according to IoT resource property. In order to achieve centralized management of resources, we abstract service set that is necessary to determine the minimal set based on research IoT management required services. We also design a working model of services, operating protocol and dynamic model. At the end of this thesis, we design and implement an IoT resources system. This system incorporates the resources register, searching, management, and other functionalities. Meanwhile, to prove the standard’s feasibility, we also design an application scenario.
